About the Pianosa & smaller islands itinerary

Pianosa: a penal colony until 1998, today a fully protected area of the Park. Daily ferry from Marina di Campo (April-October) or from Piombino. Visits only with authorised Park guides, on foot or by e-bike. Montecristo is a strict nature reserve (waiting list for rare visits).
