Montefabbrello Farm Stay Rooms – Bed and breakfast on the Gulf of Portoferraio, Island of Elba

The rooms of the Montefabbrello agriturismo stand on the plain that faces the Gulf of Portoferraio, among the olive groves and vineyards at the foot of Monte Fabbrello, about 800 metres from the sea. The farm stay is open all year and holds a three-ear rating (tre spighe), the Italian classification for farm stays.

It is also an organic farm: it produces wine, extra-virgin olive oil and pasta from ancient grains, and has its own small restaurant serving the farm’s produce.

The rooms

There are two double rooms, recently renovated, with a private bathroom, satellite TV and heating.

Breakfast and dinner

The rooms are let on a bed and breakfast basis: breakfast comes with cakes made from Montefabbrello’s own flour, jams from the farm’s fruit, Maremma milk and Elban honey. For dinner there is half board at the farm’s restaurant, cooked with local produce.
