Montefabbrello Farm Stay Apartments

Montefabbrello Farm Stay Apartments – One-bedroom apartments on the Gulf of Portoferraio, Island of Elba

The apartments of the Montefabbrello agriturismo stand on the plain that faces the Gulf of Portoferraio, among the olive groves and vineyards at the foot of Monte Fabbrello, about 800 metres from the sea. The farm stay is open all year and holds a three-ear rating (tre spighe), the Italian classification for farm stays.

It is also an organic farm: it produces wine, extra-virgin olive oil and pasta from ancient grains, and has its own small restaurant serving the farm’s produce.

The apartments

They are in the early-1900s Tuscan farmhouse known as “Casa Bonfiglio”, named after the owner’s grandfather. There are three one-bedroom apartments, each with:

• A double bedroom and a bathroom with shower
• A living room with kitchenette and sofa bed
• TV and safe
• In two of them, a small terrace and a ceiling fan in the bedroom

Breakfast and dinner

Guests in the apartments can add B&B: breakfast comes with cakes made from Montefabbrello’s own flour, jams from the farm’s fruit, Maremma milk and Elban honey. For dinner there is half board at the farm’s restaurant, cooked with local produce.

Shared spaces and facilities

• Shared terrace with fireplace
• Garden
• Parking

In the low season you can also stay for just a few days or a weekend. The two double rooms of the same farm stay, the restaurant and the farm’s produce each have their own page: Montefabbrello Farm Stay Rooms, Montefabbrello Ristoro and Montefabbrello Azienda Agricola Biologica.
