Always attentive to tourist flows, the Associazione Albergatori has already singled out May 2017 as the ideal period for staging events, both sporting and cultural, that will draw guests to the Island of Elba, perhaps tempted by particularly attractive ferry + stay packages.

May, the postcard month thanks to its vivid colours and its hills in bloom, has in recent years shown a drop in arrivals linked both to weather factors and to the calendar of public holidays. To boost attendance, then, the right recipe is precisely a mix of events that make the visit appealing, combined with an economically attractive offer on one of the points tourists feel most keenly, namely the price of the ferry.
