CAMPO NELL'ELBA MUNICIPAL LIBRARY

On Friday 18 January at 5 pm, in the library, the historian Giuseppe Massimo Battaglini will talk about the daily life of the farmers on Elba in the second half of the nineteenth century, based on Giulio Pulle's "Monography agraria" (a study that was part of the famous Investigation Jacini, regarding the situation of agriculture in post-unitary Italy). During the meeting, Antonio Arrighi (agricultural entrepreneur) and Dimitri Galletti (Azienda Agricola Montefabbrello) will illustrate some of the dynamics of today's Elban agricultural economy.
