Great success for La Notte della Taranta in Marina di Campo

A great success on the beach of Marina di Campo for La Notte della Taranta, with the concert by Pietro Cirillo's Officine Popolari Lucane.

The warm music of the south combined with the tarantella dance gradually managed to loosen up even the most reserved members of the audience, before everyone exploded together into a great party and dance on the beach of Marina di Campo. On stage, the mastery of the musicians and of Pietro Cirillo left the whole audience astonished with their skill and charisma, while the dancers retraced the magical event linked to the bite of the "BLACK TARANTULA", sweeping everyone away with their trance-like rhythm.

Beside the stage, a bar corner run by the Bar Veliero served drinks and granitas from the Gelateria Ghibli of Giampaolo Doti, the organiser of the event. At the end of the concert the artists were guests at dinner in the charming Ristorante L'Approdo, with exquisite fish dishes and a splendid view over the gulf. The evening moved straight on to Giannino Live Music, where live music rules. The next day, after a well-earned rest, came a tour of the town's shops to discover small craft workshops, followed by lunch in the rustic La Cantina del Mare in Marina di Campo, which served a spectacular lunch, once again based on the freshest fish. And of course the now famous Sinfonie of the Gelateria Ghibli (official ice cream of the MotoGP) could not be missing.
