Provenzale is the ground-floor unit at Appartamenti Criage in Marina di Campo, on Elba Island. A studio holiday apartment sleeping up to three with no stairs to carry luggage up, a private terrace shaded by a pergola opening onto the shared garden, and the beach one kilometre away. The right choice for a couple with a child, for three friends, or simply for anyone who would rather not climb a flight of stairs on holiday.

The apartment

You enter through a hallway housing the fitted kitchenette; from there you reach the bathroom with shower cubicle and hairdryer and the sleeping area, linked by a masonry arch that separates the spaces without closing them off. The sleeping area holds a double bed and a single bed alongside it: three real beds, not a sofa bed.

The pergola terrace

In front of the apartment there is a private covered terrace of around 10 sqm with a pergola, facing the courtyard and the shared garden. This is where breakfast happens in the cool of the morning and dinner happens outdoors, with the pergola giving natural shade through the middle of the day. Being on the ground floor, moving between the apartment, the terrace and the garden is immediate — convenient with children, and convenient coming back from the beach.

The shared areas at Appartamenti Criage

The studio opens directly onto the shared spaces of the property: garden, barbecue, gazebo, bocce court, children's playground, sun loungers and table football. A quiet, family-friendly setting where the day does not end when you come back from the beach.

Location

Appartamenti Criage is located at Via del Renaio 648, Marina di Campo (LI), 1 km from the sea and the old town: about a 15-minute walk or 7 minutes by bike. Marina di Campo has the longest sandy beach on Elba Island, a small harbour, shops and restaurants. A few kilometres away you reach the coves of Cavoli, Seccheto and Fetovaia and the walking trails of Monte Perone.
