The Volterraio fortress: A magical excursion.

Restored by the National Park Authority, the Volterraio fortress, one of the historical sites
most loved by the Elban, today it is open again. Thanks to its strategic position e
panoramic, Volterraio is perhaps the most evocative and magical site of the island, especially if
reached at sunset.

The actual time will be adjusted to the season and communicated at the time of booking
(mandatory at Info Park tel. 0565 908231). Service done with the use of means
collective until the beginning of the path that provides about an hour's walk.
Costs: € 20 Reduced € 10 for residents and over 65. Reduced € 5 for residents over 65.
Free for resident students (up to 19 years) and children 0-12 years. The cost includes
transfer to / r + entry + guide. Footwear suitable for rough terrain is required
and, for afternoon excursions, lighting tools such as fronts or torches.
