"MARIONA AL VOLTERRAIO" Animated costume visit to the Castello del Volterraio March 30 for the Walking Festival
In the program of the Walking Festival 2019, Saturday 30 March at 10 am, on the occasion of World Theater Day, the Tuscan Archipelago National Park offers an animated visit to the Volterraio in costume.
5 actors will accompany the path leading to the fortress at the time of Cosimo I de 'Medici, literally catapulted into the' 500 / '600 to discover, in a totally unusual way, anecdotes and stories of the Castle.
The public itself will be an integral part of the show.
The in-depth study of the history enriched by the transcription of the sixteenth century "supplications" present in the historical archive of the Medici city, by the park guide Tatiana Segnini gave life to the characters that will enliven the visit.
The title of this animated visit is "MARIONA AL VOLTERRAIO".
A carefree "shepherdess" of Marcian goats sets out in the jurisdiction of Cosimo unaware of all the mishaps that await her.
