The venue
At Paglicce Beach you eat right on the beach of Marina di Campo, halfway along the bay. It is the restaurant of the beach club of the same name, reached on foot through the pine wood.
The kitchen serves fish, meat and pasta dishes, with pairings devised by the chef. Front of house is the owner, Gianfranco, with his team. Tables are outdoors, a few steps from the water, and takeaway is available too.
Breakfast and cocktails by the sea
The day starts with breakfast by the sea in the early morning, when the beach is still quiet and the water in the bay is at its clearest.
Later on it is time for cocktails, served in the open-air lounge of the Passion Zone Area, the corner set aside for the restaurant's guests.
