Lumidamare

Lumidamare is Laura Reverdito's handmade jewellery shop in Marina di Campo, on the Island of Elba. Every piece is made by hand and carries the colours of the sea: resin stones with opalescent inclusions that change tone with the light, like reflections on the water.

Handmade resin jewellery

Each stone is made one at a time in resin, often paired with natural materials such as small pieces of wood worn smooth by time, or wrapped in hand-shaped aluminium wire. In the Gocce di Mare (Sea Drops) collection they become necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings in 925 silver and 316L steel. No two pieces are alike.

Recycled art from Elba's beaches

In winter, after the storms, Laura walks the shoreline collecting driftwood, sea glass and small fragments of plastic polished by the waves. In her hands this washed-up material comes back to life as recycled art and homeware: the silvery sheen of the wood, the aquamarine tones of the glass, every shade of blue.

About Laura Reverdito

An artist and craftswoman, Laura comes from furniture design and restyling, and from a career in fashion designing accessories and jewellery. Lumidamare brings these experiences together in a project born on the island she loves: her “dream of the sea”. Her motto: “form and matter chase each other along the thread of an idea”.
