Sunday 2 December ... in Sant'Ilario it is already CHRISTMAS !!!
Christmas is a magical moment for everyone: the little ones are waiting for it for the "rituals" that it carries, like the letter to Santa Claus, being good, the eager waiting for Christmas Eve .... and the big ones for the joy to see their children rejoice for the gifts received, the pleasure of meeting with friends and relatives and taste excellent dishes.
When all this is recreated in a place that is just as magical ... the mix is absolutely irresistible! This is the secret of all the editions of the pre-Christmas celebrations in Sant'Ilario, a small medieval village 3 kilometers away from the most famous tourist area of Marina di Campo. On Sunday 2nd December the traditional and highly anticipated event of the Sant'Ilario Market will be repeated, with many Christmas shopping stands.
For weeks the members of the Cultural Center Ricreativo Sportivo di Sant'Ilario, few but very brilliant, get to work to create colorful and original settings to decorate the village and transform it for a day in a real village of Santa Claus, full of Elves, lights and lots of fun.
Many appointments have been planned, since the morning, as the walk in the company of the Somareria dell'Elba that, at the quiet pace of these pleasant traveling companions, will lead children and adults up to Sant'Ilario. Following moments of entertainment to the rhythm of music, songs and concerts .... for a day to be enjoyed ... waiting for Christmas !!
