The campsites on Elba Island gathered here are few and all right by the beach: none is more than a hundred metres from the sea. They sit in the municipalities that have always hosted Elban camping — Portoferraio on the Biodola gulf, Campo nell’Elba on the Marina di Campo plain and Porto Azzurro on the eastern side.
Camping here covers several formats: pitches for tents and campervans, bungalows and mobile homes, and in some cases apartments inside the village. Every listing states the facilities actually available — pool, restaurant, shop, beach access, pets allowed — so you can choose before writing, instead of finding out later that something you need is missing.

Camping is also the format that stretches the Elban season: openings cluster between spring and autumn, when the sea is still swimmable and the island is far quieter. Each listing states its opening period.
