LA CENTRALE GOURMET... not only a restaurant: the first Food Hall on the Island of Elba

"LA CENTRALE GOURMET" is open now in Portoferraio: it is the new Food Hall on the Island of Elba in the modern premises of Viale Zambelli (above the Eurospin). Five different craft workshops and a large lounge bar create a space where you can enjoy the pleasure of being together, of meeting and refreshing yourself ... on any occasion and all year round.

The name "LA CENTRALE GOURMET" comes from the idea of ​​a prestigious and quality culinary offer, inside the covered area of ​​the old Enel plant, long abandoned. After the important restoration works of the pre-existing structure, reinterpreted in a modern key, a new meeting place is born between people and the table, with proposals for all tastes: pizza, pasta, meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, ice cream and bars.

Quality and authenticity are guaranteed by five important brands in the restaurant sector, which bring their craftsmanship and expertise to every "food factory" of LA CENTRALE GOURMET:

- MICHELIS (www.michelis.it): The Pastificio Michelis, fresh pasta laboratory since 1919, in Mondovì (CN), opens in LA CENTRALE GOURMET, in the Il Ristorantino version: we cook what we produce. The invitation is to taste Michelis fresh products made in the open kitchen, a guarantee of transparency and authenticity. Thanks to an expense at Km 0, the Restaurant prepares first courses that respect the rhythm of the seasons and the identity of the territory.

- MENCHETTI (www.menchetti.it): master bakers since 1948 in the heart of Tuscany, spanning three generations have made respect for tradition, craftsmanship and natural leavening the three cornerstones of their products. Menchetti brings in LA CENTRALE GOURMET its pizza, unique in its leavening, cooking, fragrance and high digestibility.

- SAVIGNI (www.savigni.com): passion, dedication and commitment for our family are a guarantee of authentic and certified quality. For us Savigni, meat has been a family since 1985!

- LE BOTTEGHE DEL MARE (www.ristorantevivo.it): fish cannot be missing on an island. In the new LA CENTRALE GOURMET the fish world is followed by Vivo, who opens his fifth restaurant in Elba, after Milan and Parma. The chefs of the Botteghe del Mare offer a wide menu based on raw, cooked specialties, from sushi to mixed fried ... even take-away.

- GELATO TI AMO (www.gelatotiamo.it): either summer or winter it is always time for a delicious ice cream, a dessert, a fruit extract or a fresh salad. Ti Amo Ice Cream, already with 5 stores in Italy and one in New York, is constantly looking for the highest quality ingredients for its ice cream, such as Tuscan milk, organic eggs and sustainable raw materials.
