We have always said that the Island of Elba is contagious and for many it is "love at first sight". The proof is that many tourists first arrive by chance for the first time, but then come back year after year; we are the proof as well, Andrea and Federica founders of Elbamylove.com, who with different stories arrived "on the rock" to stop and even do a job to tell how beautiful and unique the island is. Finally, there is also the story of Stefano, the latest brilliant acquisition of the Elbamylove's staff.
Originally from Bergamo, Stefano Chieti (47 years old), new sales manager of Elbamylove.com, has a rich professional life spent between Milan and numerous tourist resorts of great national and international fame such as the Caribbean, Mexico, Egypt, Tenerife, Courmayeur, etc. with roles of increasing prestige that have ranged from the Invent Manager, to the opening of new tourist facilities, to the training of staff.
"Tired of the stress of the city," he himself says, "I had been looking for a drastic change of life for me and Spot (his sweet beagle) for a few months. As often happens, the opportunity came when I heard on the phone two of my dear friends from Bergamo, who had transferred to the Island of Elba for over two years. Ilaria and Walter, from the Fattoria Pimpinella in Marina di Campo, told me of their wonderful experience in arriving and opening a new activity on the island, where they found great hospitality and solidarity, despite being "foreigners". In that moment they put me - as they say - "the flea in the ear". Intrigued, I thought of making a first holiday there...here. Looking for information online, I found accommodation and contacts on the Elbamylove.com portal and last summer I landed like many other tourists. From now on nature, colors, perfumes have conquered me ... what a special place! And I have seen so many beautiful places .... So I spent first one and then two holidays here ... still having some days free from work. It was on that second occasion that I met Andrea and Federica, owners of Elbamylove. I liked them immediately, and soon we decided to work together to make the Island of Elba more and more known. So, within a few months, I moved to Marina di Campo ... and do not tell you the comments of friends and former colleagues left in the city in the middle of the fog when I post photos of the sea and the beach walks in November, saying that I'm working! "
In fact, since November he started his new work at Elbamylove, where he will follow the customers of the whole island, visiting them periodically.
