SANT'ILARIO AWAITS FOR YOU IN ITS ENCHANTED WOOD

Sunday, December 3 San'Ilario will officially start the pre-Christmas events with the eighth CHRISTMAS MARKET, organized by the Cultural Center Recreational Sports Sant'Ilario. Here, as every year, for the occasion the streets of the old village will be transformed ... in a beautiful enchanted forest, animated by the elves of Santa Claus and lots of fun.
The day, which will be chilly but without rainfall in perfect Christmas atmosphere, will begin at 9.30 am with a free excursion of the SOMARERIA DELL'ELBA which will start from Marina di Campo, Piazza Dante Alighieri (Piazza del Comune). On the occasion of the traditional Christmas market, the Somareria dell 'Elba organizes its usual excursion in the company of the donkeys to reach this beautiful event in the ancient village. Arrival at Sant 'Ilario at approximately 12.00. We will walk, as always in our walks, along the ancient ways of connection traveled in the past with the donkeys from our ancestors. Our trekking is very easy and suitable for adults and children. The duration of the walk is about two and a half hours, walking slowly "at the pace of the donkeys". Participation is free, kindly offered by the Centro Culturale Recreational Sports Sant'Ilario. FOR INFO Always available at 338-4215060. At 11.00 Mass in S. Ilario and opening of the Christmas markets with many beautiful gift ideas for your shopping! And if you then start to have appetite ... at 12.00 will also open the food stands with many delicious and hot dishes as well as delicious sandwiches with sausage, fried potatoes and crepes !!!
At 13.30 in the square there will be entertainment with giant chess and from 14.00 to 16.00 several workshops dedicated to children. At 2.30 pm the dance school NON SOLO DANZA will make a small show. At 16.00 the Municipal Library of Marina di Campo will read a story ... waiting to deliver the letters to Santa Claus.
At 4.30 pm, the Schola Cantorum will hold a special Christmas concert. And then a snack .... warm friars, chocolate and mulled wine !!!
Throughout the day there will be music and the cute little train that runs around the village for the joy of young and old !!!
