The perfect mix of hospitality and outdoor services extends the summer season

In Marina di Campo two hotels, a rent and a shop for bike addicted create the ideal network to visit the Island of Elba from March to November.

Marina di Campo is always one of the favorite places by tourists who choose the Island of Elba for their holidays. The beautiful sandy beach, almost 2 km long, the center with its many boutiques and restaurants make it certainly ideal for the summer stay ... but beyond that there is much more to be able to find out, just out its center and in all seasons .

"And this is the reflection behind the creation of our new network" - explains Lorenzo Baldetti, along with his family proprietor of Selci Hotels Group. "The HOTEL DEI CORALLI and the HOTEL BARCAROLA 2 have always been the core of our business, but in trying to offer more and more services, we decided to broaden our skills by opening to interesting collaborations with RENT ELBA4FUN and VELONEXT the new shop for bicycle lovers of each type.

Thanks to RENT ELBA4FUN, we offer our guests cars, scooters, city bikes, MTB-  and electro-assisted bikes to visit freely every corner of the Island of Elba.

Behind the opening of VELONEXT there is a larger project and, as always, a lot of passion! The store was opened last March because - in our opinion - on Elba there wasn't a proper shop that made sales and professional bike and mtb assistance. The staff is composed by Stefano Fersini for the mechanical part and Enrico Lenzi patron of Elba Bike the famous amateur sports association that promotes a very successful youth cycling on the Island of Elba.

In our prestigious hotels in Marina di Campo, the HOTEL DEI CORALLI and the HOTEL BARCAROLA 2 , we can offer a warm welcome also to the guests who love sports and, thanks to new dedicated services, ensure accurate assistance for those seeking an outdoor holiday. Among the novelties in 2016 it was included in hotel a wash service to sanitize the technical clothes and a shelter area dedicated to bikes with workshop, a room equipped with lockers for sports equipment, the sale of specific supplements and the possibility of having a special fitness breakfast in the pool instead of the traditional breakfast.

In the last years we found out that more and more visitors, both Italian and foreign, love sport and biking in its various forms; so it was important that the SELCI HOTELS GROUP became part of the ITALY BIKE HOTELS circuit, for years well-represented in areas such as Garda and Trentino alto Adige and able to attract a wide audience from all over the world. Offering a panel of services related to the reception of these sports fans is now in our opinion the best step towards new tourists, new countries and then to the lengthening of the season, in periods less tied to the only sea.

But the news just begun, because the idea is to create events, sport meetings, a real "academy" with prominent personalities of the Italian and Worlwide cycling world ... which, without necessarily competitive ambitions, will simply take pleasure from "pedaling together." In these new projects, are also very important the brands that VeloNext proposes,such as Cervélo Cycles (known Canadian brand of racing bike manufacturer) thanks to which it will be possible in the future to organize meetings to test the bikes together and enjoy the wonderful views of Elba Island.
