Blog.100Days.it - a guest of Elbamylove in May - writes about the thousand shades of the Island of Elba

"Here we are: it is time to search the web for the ideal summer destination: evocative, not too crowded and preferably an island.

You are looking for a place where you can fall in love with the sunsets (or at sunset) and where there is not only a crystal-clear sea, but also a beautiful inland area, perhaps a few peaks. All of this without giving up a little fun and good food!

If you think a place like that is hard to find, you are wrong: we have it right on our doorstep, in Tuscany. The Island of Elba is a nearby island, thanks to the many ferries that leave the port of Piombino every day and arrive about an hour later in Portoferraio, and it offers all of this and more.

In May we took part in a blogtour organised by ElbaMyLove, the new portal that aims to become the point of reference for anyone living on the island, but above all for those who, like us, come to visit it." ....

These are the opening lines of the excellent article by Alessandro Marazia, sent by Blog100Days.it during our Social Media Tour in May.

The post talks about Marina di Campo, about the Hotel Nettuno that kindly hosted the blogger, and about the four-day programme discovering the Island of Elba. Not just the sea, but walks such as the Via dei Rosmarini together with Acqua dell'Elba, the Beneforti granite quarries, and charming villages such as Sant'Ilario with the Ristorante La Fonte.
