The pride of the summer program is the presence of the "Piatti TennisTeam": a group of professionals who have combined their skills to offer connected schools, their students and tennis players concerned a 360 ° service aimed at optimizing the performance of every single athlete. Thanks to an innovative methodology in the tennis field, the athlete receives a capillary technical and psycho-physical assistance every day. Through the in-depth knowledge of each individual tennis player, a highly personalized training program is developed, aimed at enhancing the athlete's qualities and at the same time correcting the deficiencies.
RICCARDO PIATTI, federal tennis master since 1982, has been and is coach of some of the best known names on the Italian scene such as Renzo Furlan (no. 19 of the ATP ranking), Cristiano Caratti (no. 26), Federico Mordegan and Cristian Brandi ( doubles), Omar Camporese (passes with him to No. 26 and wins the ATP tournament in Rotterdam). In 1996 he was a collaborator for the preparation of the Italian team for the Atlanta Olympics and for the Davis Cup. The experience was repeated also in 2002 and 2004. From 1997, until his retirement in 2012, he followed the Croatian Ivan Ljubičić taking him to the third position in the ranking and to win ten ATP tournaments including the Master of Indian Wells , the double Olympic bronze medal at the Athens Olympic Games and the Davis Cup in 2004 to which two participations in the Master Cup are added. From 2011 to 2013 he worked with Richard Gasquet. From 2013 to 2017 he followed Milos Raonic, a period in which he reached a final at the Wimbledon Tournament and the third position in the ranking. Since 2008 he has supported his activities with workshops and technical advice for other clubs, coaches and players. Since April 2018 he inaugurated his own academy called Piatti Tennis Center in Bordighera, whose staff also includes Massimo Sartori, coach of Andreas Seppi, Cristian Brandi and at whose facilities Seppi, Borna Ćorić, Jannik Sinner train themselves and Novak Đoković, who Piatti had followed between 2004 and 2005, Stan Wawrinka and Garbiñe Muguruza and Maria Sharapova also trained for short periods.
Riccardo Piatti will be present on Elba from 27 June to 1 August 2020 with his team, making Tenuta delle Ripalte the beating heart of tennis next summer.
In parallel, in the weeks from April 12 to September 20, the GoTennis instructors will guarantee all fans of any level an excellent teaching with their tennis internships.
