MONTEFABBRELLO with its fine wines at AUTOCHTONA 2019
After the success at AUTOCHTONA AWARD 2018, which saw its Aleatico Passito DOCG 2017 awarded, on October 14th and 15th, the COMPANY AGRICOLA BIOLOGICA MONTEFABBRELLO takes part in the 2019 edition with a new selection of wines.
AUTOCHTONA is the annual event, which takes place in Bolzano, with the protagonists of the excellent Italian autochthonous wines: a showcase that enhances the typicality of wines coming from unique or rare vines of the rich Italian tradition. A prerequisite for obtaining white and red wines of the highest quality is that the winemakers cultivate and work their grapes directly, following the entire production process, from the vineyard to the glass.
The objective of this event is to create a true "tour of Italy" glass in hand, making the great wines of small wineries known to the public and operators. This year there are over 80 companies from 17 Italian regions, which present the best of local productions of the great Italian wine heritage
Montefabbrello, the only company on the Island of Elba, this year has 4 different labels:
- Elba Rosso "Poggio Le Lenze" 2017 organic
- Ansonica "Sasso di Leva" 2018, also nominated for Best White Wine
- Ansonica Passito 2018
- Aleatico 2017
