IN THE WEEKEND OF 8-9 DECEMBER the ELBA IS UPON EVENTS!
Events of all kinds for all tastes await you in the next two days on the Island of Elba. Even if there are no "bridge" days linked to the feast of the Immaculate Conception, there will be no lack of parties, sports and entertainment, as well as many shopping opportunities.
Here are the main events of SATURDAY 8:
- Portoferraio (Carpani): CHRISTMAS MARKET from 10am onwards.
- Portoferraio - ENGLISH FORT: The Tuscan Archipelago National Park and the Italian Alpine Club Subsection Elba Island, organize a weekend on Saturday and Sunday on the theme Mountain biking according to the CAI. From 4.30pm to 6.30pm the Tuscan Archipelago National Park organized the OPENING OF STRONG ENGLISH to the public, with a visit to the structure.
- Portoferraio - Sala della Gran Guardia - 18.00: meeting to commemorate the BRASSARD OPERATION and the liberation of the Island of Elba
- Porto Azzurro: STREET WORKOUT IN RIO. Thanks to the team led by Cristina Parrini, discover the natural beauties of the Mineral Park of Rio Marina, crossing evocative mining sites characterized by landscapes reminiscent of the lunar soil. The most evocative stops: Amphitheater, Valle di Giove, Falcaccio and La Pesa. Meeting at 10.00 am Rio Amphitheater for registration, delivery of headphones and sweaters. Departure at 10:30 am
- Marina di Campo: SWEET TRADITIONS with pre-Christmas shopping in the shops of the Centro Commerciale Naturale and many desserts in the square. From 2.30 pm opening of the gstronomic stand, but shopping from 10 am to 8 pm !!!
- Marciana: MAGIC CHRISTMAS and WINGS OF A DREAM: from 11 to 18 shopping with local products and local crafts. At 6 pm, at the Collegiata di San Sebastiano the tenors Marco Ciaponi will perform singing "On the wings of a dream ..." dedicated to the teacher Giovanna Fratini Ciaponi.
- Marciana Marina: CHRISTMAS MARKET with food stands from 12.00
SUNDAY 9 DECEMBER:
- San Piero: EMPTYING THE DEAD STAGE: from 12 to 18 many special things are waiting for you, unique and unobtainable at the flea market. EMPTY THE MORTO STAGE in San Piero !!! During the day you can browse the many stalls in the two main squares of (Piazza della Chiesa and Piazza Garibaldi) and also have a snack with sandwich and many goodies!
- Marciana Marina: RACE OF SANTA CLAUS SLIPS
