Marina di Campo welcomes the #myelbatour15 bloggers
We left them with our sweet welcome to the Island of Elba.... and today we carry on alongside them to discover the first stop of #myelbatour15: Marina di Campo.
After taking them to the hotels that kindly hosted them, which we will introduce over the coming days, we left them free to stroll along the streets of Marina di Campo and on the beach, before meeting up again at the Town Hall for the official welcome from Mayor Lorenzo Lambardi, from the administration of Campo nell'Elba and from the Elbamylove.com team.
We talked about the importance of tourism for Marina di Campo and for the Island of Elba in general, and we introduced the organisations that, alongside the Municipality, look after tourism locally: ProLoco di Campo nell'Elba, Centro Commerciale Naturale Il Golfo and the portal Marina-di-Campo.it
Next came the presentation of ELBAMYLOVE.com: our project rests on two key elements
- an absolutely innovative portal, rich in cutting-edge features that make it highly interactive for users,
- a strong outward communication effort to attract new Italian and foreign visitors to the island.
We thanked the bloggers who took part, introducing them one by one, and QuiNewsElba put a few questions to them.
At the end, before closing the meeting, the local winery TERRE DEL GRANITO gave every blogger a bottle of white wine Le Ripe - Elba Procanico....pure nectar!!!
