Thanks to ENPA and ELBAMYPETS the Island of Elba is ready to welcome your pets!
We meet Evi Mibelli of ENPA (Italian National Animal Protection Association) to know all the campaigns that make the Island of Elba "Animal Friendly"
This summer, thanks to a series of special capaigns tailored by the local branch of the National Animal Protection Association, Elba Island is ready to welcome not only Italian and foreign tourists who always choose it as a destination for their holidays, but also their pet-friends.
Evi Mibelli, ENPA voluntary coming from Elba Island but with a long militancy and experience in Lombardy, tells us "For the next summer we are launching a number of initiatives to help you enjoy your holidays if you come on the island with your little friend - dog or cat. "
Among the main are:
- The ELBAMYPETS FOLDER, created in collaboration with ElbaMyLove.com. It 'a nice leaflet, both in Italian and English languages, in order to spend "Relaxing Holidays with your four-legs friend" and provides guidance and advice on how to better manage your pet on vacation. From beaches and public places, veterinary assistance. Soon it will be distributed over the entire island.
- DOGBAR ENPA: with the collaboration of Confesercenti Elba, numerous businesses have joined the ENPA campaign and chose to keep by the entrance of shops, bars and restaurants, a bowl full of water to quench our friends.
- Give me a GOODCOFFEE: a few bars of heavy traffic were chosen by ENPA for a pilot initiative. The poster has as protagonists the funny noses of a dog and a cat that 'tell' the project in a few words: "With 50 cents more on the coffee you ordered, you will give me a bowl of food. Your small act of generosity will be added to that of many others and will allow ENPA to care for many other animals in need. ". In summary ... Making solidarity makes good your coffee and improves the day.
- DOG FESTIVAL 2015: Tuesday, July 21st in Marina di Campo in the townhall square at 21.30 with the support of Acqua dell'Elba there will be a un-competitive Race for 4legs pets on vacation, at the presence of a dog trainer.
These and other events are part of the SOS VET summer project of fundraising, to raise resources for the Veterinary Relief for the summer in favor of needy animals.
