Discover the marine biodiversity of Elba Island

The Elba Aquarium, located in Marina di Campo, is one of the most comprehensive Mediterranean aquariums in existence. Privately built and managed, it houses over 150 marine species typical of the Mediterranean Sea, displayed in 80 tanks holding a total of approximately 250,000 liters of water.

An educational and immersive experience

The tanks are carefully designed with natural and artificial materials to recreate authentic marine habitats. Each tank is accompanied by informative panels describing the characteristics of the species on display, providing an engaging and educational experience for visitors.

ElbaBrick: the LEGO® themed area

Inside the aquarium, you'll find ElbaBrick, a dedicated space celebrating the world of LEGO® bricks, designed to inspire creativity in both children and adults.

Sea Shop: souvenirs and marine-themed gifts

The aquarium's Sea Shop features a wide selection of marine-themed items, including plush toys, t-shirts, keychains, mugs, and more—perfect mementos of your visit.

Opening hours

  • Until 18 June and from 11 September to 16 October: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • From 19 June to 10 September: 9:00 AM – 11:30 PM
  • Entry allowed up to 30 minutes before closing time.

How to get there

The aquarium is located in Località Segagnana, Marina di Campo. It is easily accessible by following signs for Lacona–Porto Azzurro and turning right just before the road begins to ascend.
