Appartamenti Le Formichine

The apartments  Le Formichine  are located in a beautiful location called IL FORMICAIO:  a green corner, once cultivated with vineyards, very close to the center of Marina di Campo and its  long beach (reachable on foot or by bicycle in a few minutes) but away from traffic and confusion. When in the height of summer it is difficult to find a parking space, the car can be leave in the shade in front of the house and use the bicycles* available to guests, or, in the evening, reach the center with a pleasant walk along a secondary asphalted and illuminated road.

There are four apartments, all on the ground floor, spacious, comfortable and well-furnished, equipped with a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. In front of each one there is a comfortable 23 m2 terrace, furnished with a table, chairs and deckchairs, where you can have lunch in absolute privacy, without being seen by other guests. Behind there is another terrace where you can hang out, with a priceless outdoor shower, very convenient when you come back from the sea.

Each apartment is composed of:

• a double bedroom
• a small bedroom with bunk bed
• a large bathroom with shower and window
• hallway and closet
• bright living room with kitchenette, oven and refrigerator
• *bicycles available to guests with a small deposit

The shared coin-operated washing machine is outside in front of the houses. The structure is suitable for a family composed of parents and one or two children, or teenagers. Around the houses a well-kept garden, with 2 large palm trees and a tiled square surrounded by oleanders.

Those who want to read a good book, or go to bed early will have peace and quiet; those who want to go out every night in Marina di Campo will find clubs, restaurants, shops. For those who love more challenging walks, an old path leads to the Galenzana beach from where you can climb up to Capo Poro. The surrounding roads offer the possibility of jogging. A short drive away are the beaches of the Costa del Sole: Cavoli, Seccheto and Fetovaia, which are also very enjoyable at the beginning and end of the season.

In the months of JUNE - JULY - AUGUST our apartments are rented weekly from SATURDAY to SATURDAY.
