Le Formichine Apartments – Marina di Campo, Elba Island

Le Formichine Apartments are located in the peaceful area of Il Formicaio, a green corner once cultivated with vineyards, very close to the centre of Marina di Campo and its long sandy beach, both easily reachable on foot or by bicycle within a few minutes. An ideal location for guests who want convenience without giving up peace and quiet, away from traffic and summer crowds.

During the high season, when parking in the centre can be difficult, guests can leave their car in the shade in front of the house and move around freely using the bicycles available to guests, or enjoy a pleasant evening walk to the town centre along a quiet, paved and well-lit road.

The property offers four apartments, all on the ground floor, spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Each apartment features a ceiling fan in the double bedroom and generous private outdoor spaces.

In front of each apartment there is a private terrace of about 23 sqm, furnished with table, chairs and sun loungers, perfect for outdoor meals in complete privacy. At the back, a second terrace is available for drying clothes, with a convenient outdoor shower, ideal after returning from the beach.

Each apartment consists of:

• 1 double bedroom
• 1 small bedroom with bunk beds
• Large bathroom with shower box and window
• Hallway and storage room
• Bright living room with kitchenette, oven and refrigerator
• Bicycles available for guests (small deposit required)

Outside, in front of the apartments, there is a coin-operated shared washing machine. The property is particularly suitable for families with one or two children or teenagers, thanks to its functional spaces and peaceful surroundings.

The apartments are surrounded by a well-kept garden with large palm trees, oleanders and a paved courtyard, creating a relaxing and tidy atmosphere.

Guests seeking peace and quiet can relax with a good book or enjoy early nights, while those who prefer evenings out in Marina di Campo will find restaurants, bars and shops nearby. For lovers of walking and trekking, an old path leads to the Galenzana Beach, with the possibility of continuing up to Capo Poro. The surrounding roads are also perfect for jogging.

The most beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sole, such as Cavoli, Seccheto and Fetovaia, are just a short drive away and are also enjoyable at the beginning and end of the season.

Le Formichine Apartments welcome both long-standing guests and new visitors to Elba Island, where the mild climate allows for pleasant holidays from May to October.

During June, July and August, the apartments are rented weekly from Saturday to Saturday.
